The Story Of Ink and Ivy House of Beauty

Ink & Ivy started with a dream...literally.
The Owner, licensed Esthetician Rebecca Riggi had worked for years hoping to one day achieve her goal: a complete beauty and wellness center where like-minded professionals offered their crafted talents to serve the community and make our little corner of this big world beautiful, one clean beauty service and smile at a time. One night she dreamed that the name of her vision was “Ink & Ivy”. She added “House of Beauty '' in reference to a kitschy country music video in which the local salon boasted a “we should be friends” vibe.

Ink & Ivy is Rebecca’s creative, colorful and artistic side complemented by her hippie heart and love for all things green and natural.

We opened our doors in June of 2020 with 4 hairstylists and an esthetician. While the whole world was shut down, we assembled a team of ambitious DIYers and built a salon with rustic but refined finishes; complete with treatment rooms. The whole country was shut down; but we were soon welcoming clients and offering hair services with two clean beauty hair product lines: Oligo and Saphira. We soon added the Tik-Tok fave Color Wow to our boutique of professional products.
Later that year, we added our first licensed massage therapist and were able to start offering facial and waxing services again.We had our first Prom season, offering organic spray tanning as well as hair and makeup looks. Weddings became a quick favorite for us, we love to welcome groups and make a fabulous experience for a special occasion- complete with music, refreshments and all the love.

Eventually, we built another treatment room and a space for our private Infrared Sauna. We have a full staff of massage therapists specializing in sports massage and deep tissue as well as Swedish and relaxation massage. We offer Reiki energy work and special Sound Bath events for guided meditation and alternative healing.

Rebecca still specializes in organic facials, professional body waxing and will soon be adding Dermaplane to the list of holistic skin care services. She has curated a boutique filled with clean beauty products from Green Envee and VXN (formerly known as Color Up Therapeutics), Croll & Deneke and Fillaree, to name a few. The handmade bar soaps are customer favorites and you should definitely come check out the bulk products offered for a zero waste option for body and home. Of course, handmade body butters and sugar scrubs are made by ‘Becca herself.
